PORTFOLIO

TECHNICAL DRAWINGS
I was taught the how to create technically drawings to a professional standard during my time at University. As part of all of the design related projects we were tasked to produce thorough technical drawings to present out set designs, this also included construction notes and understanding how to make the drawings we produced simple to read. To the left you can see a few examples of drawings I have produced for various projects. I am able to produce technical drawings both by hand and by using computer programmes such as AutoCAD To see more examples of my technical drawings please click the 'see more' button above.
MODEL MAKING
While I was at university I learnt how to create highly detailed white card models. For every design project at university we were required to produce a model to present alongside our technical drawings and concept art, I understand that this allows people to see the set before it is fully constructed. As well as white card I used materials such as foam board, expanding foam and balsa wood to create sets that were organic or structural depending on the project. To the left you can see a few examples of some of the models I have created as part of various projects. For more examples of my models please click the 'see more' button above.
CONCEPT ART
To support the technical drawings and models we produced as part of university projects we created concept art to show what the set would look like once constructed, lit, decorated and dressed. This is an important part of the design process as it really highlights the overall design concept. Some  of the concept art I produced is by hand, other examples use programmes such as Photoshop of 3D Studio Max To the left you can see a few examples of my concept art.
