While I was at university I learnt how to create highly detailed white card models. For every design project at university we were required to produce a model to present alongside our technical drawings and concept art, I understand that this allows people to see the set before it is fully constructed. As well as white card I used materials such as foam board, expanding foam and balsa wood to create sets that were organic or structural depending on the project.
